Vastu Sastra

The Science of Architure

VastuSastra

Vastu (or 'premises') refers to an open space surrounded by walls on all sides, whether or not it has a roof.Every such constructed space has an energy center, also known as the premises' Deity. Its mission is to give energy to any pleasant or unpleasant event that occurs there. The ancient Indian science of Vastu Shastra is founded on the concept of prosperity. It directly links a person's health and happiness to the design and construction of a structure. Nature has five basic elements: the energy of the planets, air, water, fire, and earth. Each has their own set of dynamics, and using Vaastu, home and business can be synchronized.

To comprehend the distinction between pleasant and disturbing frequencies generated in premises, it is necessary to first comprehend how these frequencies are generated. In unoccupied buildings, there are three types of frequencies:

  • 1. The first type consists of frequencies emitted by the plot of land the premises is built on.
  • 2. The second type is made up of 360 frequencies that travel horizontally to the Earth's surface. These frequencies travel in a circular pattern through the premises.
  • 3. The third type includes the frequency of thoughts generated by people who built the premises, those who live in the premises, and those who visit the premises.

Vastushastra helps us understand how to avoid the effect of some of these haphazard vibrations. Vastu Shastra's main beliefs are as follows:

  • • The presence of roads to the north or east of the house benefits the health and development of the residents. If a house has three roads, its residents will experience tension and stress-related disorders.
  • • When digging the foundation, make sure to start from the east, then north, west, and lastly south-west.
  • • The main entrance should be on the east, north, and northeast corners of the home. The main entryway, on the south-west end, offers less peace and a constant sense of anxiety.
  • • Plots towards the end of the road are similarly unsuitable for homeowners.
